Converting Machine Operator

Position Description: We are seeking an experienced, highly successful, detailed-oriented, Converting Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will set-up, operate and tend to the Converting Machines.

Starting Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions:

Adjust machine settings for appropriate product.
Test and maintain machinery to ensure proper function.
Change computer program parameters as appropriate.
Perform quality checks to secure proper operations.
Print barcodes, and work with Business Express Software.
Drives and operates a forklift to load and unload product from machine.
Maintains production records and appropriate documentation

Additional Responsibilities:

Follows prescribed safety regulations.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Converting Manager/Supervisor or other members of the management team.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

High School diploma or equivalent required
3 - 5 years Machine Operator experience
Manufacturing experience preferred
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 70 lbs. regularly
Required ability to stand for extended periods of time;
Must be able to walk, stretch, reach, crawl and grasp objects;
Required to bend, stoop, climb, crawl or kneel occasionally;
Ability to follow directions, work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
PC skills, strong written and oral communication skills required;
Required forklift certification and ability to operate machinery;
Previous experience operating machinery preferred

Maintenance Mechanic

Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will perform manual labor and semi-skilled work for the facility as well as general mechanical machine maintenance.

Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions:

Perform general maintenance of facility machines and other repairs.
Assist with electrical and mechanical repairs as needed.
Ensure building safety and keep supervisor informed of any hazards. T
Troubleshoot Industrial Control Systems and Automated Industrial Equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Notify Management of repair needs or additions to building operating systems.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

5 years Manufacturing Machine knowledge a plus
High school diploma or equivalent desired;
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 80 lbs. occasionally;
Experience with welding (MIG welding & other welding techniques a plus), mechanics, plumbing, electrical, and reading blueprints;
Experience with Bench Grinders and Lathes and ability to fabricate parts for maintenance purposes;
Forklift certification and ability to operate machinery required
Required ability to regularly move about the facility and sit, bend, stoop or kneel;
PC skills, strong written and oral communication skills required;
Must be able to walk, stretch, reach, crawl and work in small spaces on a regular basis;

Product Technical Support Specialist

Position Description: We are seeking a Product Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both internal and external customers in the use of graphic films including vinyl for plotter and digital printing applications.

Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions:

Field and resolve technical inquiries regarding the use of vinyl films in sign making
Evaluate and process return material authorizations
Manage departmental interaction and data on the corporate website
Manage third-party support performance
Technical testing of products for internal and external customers
Produce standard status reports
Develop and execute education for internal and external use
Design and execute graphic projects for marketing tools

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

College degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Arts, Business Administration, or related field
At least five years sign making experience required, including use of plotter films, digital printing materials, and laminates
Excellent teamwork and communications skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills;
Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Willingness to travel occasionally

Production Machine Operator

Position Discription: We are seeking an experienced, highly successful, detailed-oriented, machine operator to join our team. The successful candidate will set-up, operate and tend to the production on the coating line.

Salary / Wage: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions:

• Adjust machine settings for appropriate product .
• Test and maintain machinery to ensure proper function.
• Change computer program parameters as appropriate, including moisture gauge, thickness gauge, and dryer.
• Perform quality checks to secure proper operations.
• Clean coating and dryer units frequently.
• Prepare splice point, print barcodes, and work with Business Express Software.
• Drives and operates a forklift to load and unload product from machine.
• Maintains production records and appropriate documentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Proactively detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department supervisor.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor or other member of management team.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

• 5-10 years Manufacturing/Machine Operating experience
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical Certification desired
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. regularly;
• PC skills, strong written and oral communication skills required;
