Warehouse Associate

Job Location: Black Creek, GA
Position Description: We are seeking a highly successful, detailed-oriented, Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling, labeling and stocking inbound and outbound shipments, as well as accurate documentation of customer orders.
Starting Salary: $12.00 per hour
Essential Functions:

Pull Orders, Receive off-load and breakdown incoming shipments;

Count and reconcile incoming shipments against vendor packing slips;
-
Ensure date coding on incoming product; distribute to warehouse bins in compliance with first in first out rotational procedures;

Reposition bulk and overflow skids per FIFO procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency;

Quickly and accurately pull, label and document customer orders;
-
Safely and quickly package customer orders within a 99.9% accuracy rate;
Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace;

Participate in performance improvement programs, data collection, and meetings as directed;

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
-
One year of warehouse experience;
-
Forklift certification preferred;
-
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 80 lbs. regularly;
-
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment;
-
Basic math skills and computer data entry required;
-
Required ability to regularly move about the facility and sit, bend, stoop, or kneel;
-
Must be able to walk, stretch, reach, crawl and work in small spaces on a regular basis;

Excellent communication and problem solving skills required.
