ORALIFE COMPONENT SYSTEM Warranty Details
The OCS Warranty from Oracal USA warranty applies to specified combinations of ORAJET digital media and ORAGUARD laminating films when used in combination with approved wide-format inkjet printers and OEM ink sets.
Covered failures include cracking, blistering, fading or peeling of the media or printed image in vertical exposure applications in the United States (excluding the desert Southwest, which includes the southern regions of CA, NV, UT the entire states of AZ and NM and northwest TX, wherein this warranty will be reduced by 2 years). Film failure caused by ink over-saturation is not covered. In the case of vehicle wraps, image fade on marine applications or horizontally exposed surfaces such as the vehicle hood, roof and trunk will be warranted on a pro-rated basis in proportion to the stated OEM ink life expectancy in such an exposure.
All ORACAL products are produced in compliance with ISO 9001 quality certification standards and are warranted to be free of defects in materials and manufacture and to perform as stated when materials are stored, handled and installed in accordance with ORACAL's stated product technical recommendations and information bulletins.
Warranted graphics must have been printed and installed after 02/01/05 for the warranty to apply. Products must be processed and applied within one year of purchase for warranty to apply. The OCS Warranty shall not apply to products that have been subjected to misuse, misapplication or neglect, including but not limited to improper storage.
The exclusive remedy under the OCS Warranty shall be the replacement of warranted materials (digital media and laminating film) or, at Oracal's option, a refund of the purchase paid. In no event will Oracal USA be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage of any kind. Claims against the OCS Warranty will be verified by an ORACAL-approved laboratory. Ink contaminations/failures recognized by their respective ink manufacturers will not be covered by this warranty.
In order to be eligible for the OCS warranty, the ORALIFE Component System Warranty Pre-Approval Form must be completed in full. Once this form has been completed, please fax to: 912-851-5060, attention Director of Technical Services. We will review your information and issue a non-transferable warranty certificate to you within ten business days. If you have any questions please call 888-ORACAL-1 extension 130 or 168.
